2007 in a slideshow!

Tydon's FIRST birthday

We celebrated Tydon's birthday on three different days. First, we went to Trenton on Sunday where we celebrated Heidi, Clayton and Ty's birthday (much to heidi's dismay that we might steal some of her thunder-she already feels picked on for having a birthday in January!) So we had a nice dinner (thanks mom) and then played outside-not too much fun for Ty because he was tired and went to sleep, which made it more fun for the rest of us! So we played on the four-wheelers and sleds (aka tarps tied with twine to the four-wheeler). It was a great time. Then we came inside and had a little family DDR. Kace insists that he is the best dancer of us all. Then on Monday Nate's parents came over and we had some hamburgers and cupcakes and discovered Ty's love of pickles. He ate a TON of them. Then on Tuesday we had a quiet day at home and sang a lot of "happy birthday." Kace was so excited for this day that he could hardly stand it. They even sang to Ty at Kace's preschool. That evening our good friend Shirleen came over for cupcakes and more singing. He had a great THREE days and is one spoiled kid!!

the day at the ER

On Dec 20 we were at the picture store developing some pics for a Christmas card (which after this day became a New Year's or Holiday card........sorry everyone! :) ) Anyway, Ty and Kace were playing and Ty fell into the corner of a platform and split the bridge of his nose open. This first picture was just about an hour before the accident. I came downstairs and found him in the empty cupboard and was just so happy!

We went to the dr. and he didn't want to touch it because of how it was in the middle of his face so he said to go to the ER and he would call a plastic surgeon over from Logan. So we waited and waited and waited. Finally (after a few broken Christmas tree ornaments- sorry hospital, he really is a DESTROYER!), they told us to go home and they would call us when he got there and was ready for us.

Christmas 2007

Okay, okay, okay. People can stop asking, (finally) here is our family blog. Cheers!!

Ty just couldn't stop staring at Santa. I thought for sure he was going to tug at his beard. Luckily for Santa that didn't happen, but he just stared and stared and stared..............
Kace is such a cheeser. Everytime someone wants to take a picture of him he makes some sort of face. Never a dull moment, that's for sure.
Christmas was very exciting at our house, which made it more fun for mom and dad as well. Ty still has no fear, which is evident.
Kace was so excited to open everyone's presents. So after he got done with his, he opened Ty's, mom's and dad's! We then went over to Grandma and Grandpa Andrew's house (Grandma and Grandpa Jones were in Reno so we celebrated Christmas with them a couple days before) where we played with the guitar hero and watched Spiderman 3, which is all Kace wanted for Christmas. Luckily, he got it!
