McD's and airplanes

Last week Anna (for those from SV Anna is Anna Keen) and I took our kids to mcDonald's and to the Hill Air Force Base airplane museum. The kids ALWAYS love going to McD's and love to play play play on the playplace. Here is a pic of Ty and Kace-if you are wondering about that thing on Kace's head it is the prize from his happy meal-a pirate hat. He LOVED it! He was transformed into "Captain Jack Sparrow"

Here are all the kids watching the (boring) movie presentation, but the seemed to like it for a little bit! Ty and Kace are on the left and the girl in the middle is a friend of Clarissa's. Anna's three kids are Clarissa, Sam, and Thomas on the right. They are all the best of buds!
There was an 'older' boy there to show them how to work the seat.
Ty didn't really care about the airplanes too much, he did love to go up and down the ramp in the hall though. He could have stayed in the hall the entire time. Unfortunately we had a MAJOR blowout right when we got there, I wasn't very prepared because we haven't had one of those blasted things for about 6 months. I don't know where that came from! I guess probably from teething, because I blame everything on teething! :)
Ty loved playing in the dirt and rocks.
I think the kids' favorite part was going outside to see all the really big airplanes. They also played tag around them and bad guys and good guys, so my guess is that they just liked running around. Unfortunately we had to leave when Clarissa bawled after being hit from a rock. Who threw it? That's right our little Ty the Guy, who would have thought?

Happy Easter and Happy Birthday Dad!

We had a great weekend. The kids (that means Kace) found their Easter baskets and all the eggs in record time. The Easter bunny had better hide them better next year!
We went to the Easter Egg hunt in Tremonton and it was the WEIRDEST egg hunt I have ever been too. First of all, there were TONS of kids EVERYWHERE........we had to park about 1/2 mile away from the park and so by the time we walked there the kids were freezing (the wind was blowing and it was COLD) and the siren was going off for the hunt to start. I saw all the kids getting the eggs and told Kace to, "RUN" if he wanted any eggs. So he ran and to my surprise came back with a basket full of eggs. I thought to myself "Candy Jackpot, good job Kace." But as I picked up the first one I realized it was empty, as were ALL the eggs. Come to find out you are supposed to stand in a MONSTER line with your basket of eggs and turn your eggs in three at a time for three big candy bars. Then you are supposed to go to the end of the line and do it again with three more eggs. Well, we did this a couple of times and then I told Kace to just dump his eggs, that six candy bars were good. It was so cold, that he was fine with that and just wanted to get to the car. I think that will be the last time for the Tremonton Easter Egg Hunt. We will find something a bit smaller next time.............like at Grandma Jones'.
Grandma Spencer sent the boys this bubble maker thingy, which they LOVED!
After church we headed to Trenton for Dad's birthday celebration. Clayton and Heidi bought kites for their Easter and were nice enough to share the fun with the rest of us. Kace loved the Spiderman kite, but wouldn't touch the My Little Pony one! There wasn't much wind in Trenton so Kace ran and ran and ran. Heidi and Clayton didn't want to generate their own wind so we got out the 4-wheelers and they flew them as we drove! Good times!
Later we played HORSE and Ty wanted to have his turn!

Lastly we had a Guess Who? tournament. Cortney created the brackets and Dad won. interesting.........

Celebrity Look Alike

I don't know about this, but it is fun! I did it with another picture and I looked most like Sheryl Crow with that one, and now she isn't even on there!

Last week----

After Isaac and Mary's sealing on Monday (last week) Kace got to go home with Grandpa and Grandma Jones to have a sleepover with his cousins. I went up in the morning to spend the day with them. We spent the morning outside in the snow and then got in the hot tub. Just imagine four crazy ladies and five even crazier boys (I guess Ty wasn't quite as crazy as the older boys). They got double dared to go out in the snow and then come back in the hot tub. They loved that! After about an hour, Caitlin, Rainee and I got out with Ty and Evan and went inside. After an hour later we were wondering where Donene and the other boys were and what they were doing, so we checked back in the hot tub. Yes, they were still there! They had put the sleds in the hot tub and were pretending that they were their boats. They would climb on and it would rock them off! There was a lot of laughing and a lot of water! They were out there for another hour after that, they were shriveled like prunes, but all had a great time.

Yes, is their roof at the top of the picture! I couldn't believe they still had that much snow and I am definitely glad that ours is ALMOST gone! hip hip hooray!

This is a blurry picture, but it was so funny I just had to put it on. Caitlin called for us to come downstairs because Ty had climbed up over the bar to the basketball hoop and started climbing up the ramp with the ball so he could make a basket! love it! :)

Nate's childhood stomping ground!

On Monday we traveled to Provo for Nate's bro Isaac's sealing to Mary Salisbury Jones......from those of you from high school Mary is Sarah's sister. Anyway, while we were in Provo we stopped by to visit Nate's house that he lived in until he was four years old. He, as well as his dad and sister were remembering the house and the things they did while they were there.
This is the picket fence Nate used to escape over with his dog, Oggie (sound familiar people, the escaping and the DOG!--not at all like my (our) boys! please catch the sarcasm!)
I forgot to take a picture of my favorite part of Provo, so you will have to picture it in your minds,..............drum roll please.........that's right LaVell Edwards Stadium! Of course I got the familiar rush of adrenaline when we drove by it, it made me very excited for six months from now! I believe I even had a moment of silence! :)
It was a beautiful day with a beautiful event taking place. We have really been looking forward to today

One more week!

It has been another week and I just don't have too much to blog, SORRY HEIDI! I keep forgetting to take my camera places. Today we all went on our first walk of SPRING! (YEA!!) and Ty kept finding all the mud puddles and waddled and splashed from puddle to puddle. I thought to myself, "I wish I had my camera." Also, we went to McDonald's for FHE so the boys could play on the playplace (and I could have a hot fudge sundae!) and I forgot my camera then too. AHHHHH!!! So these pictures are ones that we take at home because that is where my camera is. ................

This picture (above) was last week when I was upstairs reading the vampire books (as I call them-maybe that's why not much has gone on, but at least I am finished with them!) and I hear this screaming coming from Kace. I ran downstairs and found this big mess. Apparently Ty was hungry and didn't want to wait for me, he got the gravy mix and DUMPED it all out. He was pretty proud of himself.

Ty decided he would be a baby and was trying to figure out how the binky used to go in his mouth! He never used binkys all that much as a baby, but always enjoys playing around with it.

This picture was this morning, Ty got finished with his breakfast first and decided to come and beg Kace for some of his. Kace always does such a good job looking out for his brother.

I am almost finished with this year's basketball season. I just have the tournament in Brigham and then it will be over, for another year at least. This is something I really look forward to each year. Don't worry Mel and Kami it was definitely better when I played with you guys in Smithfield. Good times!

PS Kami just reminded me that I forgot to take a picture today when Ty found a bit of cow crap by the back door (off of Nate's boots), the next thing I know he is making this gagging sound, I turn around and there is green stuff that he is spitting out of his mouth. I forgot to take a picture of that as well, thank you dear sister for kindly reminding me.
